Terms & Conditions


Effective Date: July 15th, 2025
This Agreement (“Agreement”) sets forth the terms and conditions under which EMPIRE ELECTRICAL AND ENGINEERING LLC, a Florida limited liability company, License Number EC13015102 (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), agrees to provide electrical services to you (“Client,” “you,” or “your”).
1. Services
The Company provides residential and commercial electrical services, including but not limited to new construction, installations, renovations, maintenance, panel upgrades, and smart home integrations.
2. Engagement and Acceptance
Services are engaged by referral, website contact form, social media, or direct communication. Formal written contracts will be executed for large projects; for other projects, acceptance of a service quote constitutes acceptance of these Terms.
3. Deposits and Payment Terms

  • A deposit of fifty percent (50%) is required prior to commencement of most projects. For new construction projects, fifty percent (50%) is due initially, twenty-five percent (25%) upon passing the first inspection, and the remaining balance upon final inspection approval.

  • Payment methods accepted include cash, credit/debit cards, and checks.

  • Final payment is due within seven (7) calendar days following project completion.

  • Late payments beyond the seven (7) day grace period may incur late fees as outlined in any applicable contract.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced.

  • Clients may cancel prior to commencement of work without penalty unless otherwise governed by a signed contract.

  • Appointments for estimates and services may be rescheduled with no less than twenty-four (24) hours’ prior notice.

  • Deposit refunds for cancellations after payment but before work commencement are at the Company’s sole discretion, considering scheduling impacts.

5. Warranties and Guarantees

  • The Company warrants workmanship in accordance with industry standards.

  • No warranties are provided for client-supplied materials.

  • Manufacturer warranties on materials supplied by the Company will be passed through to the Client where applicable.

6. Subcontracting
The Company reserves the right to subcontract portions of work as necessary, provided all subcontractors maintain appropriate licensing and comply with applicable laws and standards.
7. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

  • The Company shall not be liable for delays or damages resulting from permitting processes, inspections, weather conditions, acts of third parties, or client-supplied materials.

  • The Company disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the services provided.

  • Client-supplied materials are the sole responsibility of the Client, including compatibility and performance.

8. Compliance
All services shall be performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), Florida Building Code, OSHA regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property, including but not limited to plans, designs, drawings, and documentation, created by the Company remain the exclusive property of the Company. The Client is granted a limited, non-transferable license to use such materials solely for the completed project.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflicts of law provisions.
11. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising out of or related to this Agreement or the services provided:

  • The parties agree to engage in good-faith negotiations to resolve the dispute informally.

  • If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to mediation in the State of Florida in accordance with Florida law.

  • Should mediation fail, binding arbitration shall be conducted in Florida under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or a similar organization, governed by Florida law.

  • Judgment upon the arbitration award may be entered in any Florida court of competent jurisdiction.

  • Nothing herein shall prevent either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief in a Florida court to protect their rights.
